03/28/10 Chipley Florida

Chipley Florida Family of Five as for our help! This family reported full body apparitions, smoke, the smell of baby powder, a clicking noise. They also report some bruising and bits to their two year old son Klyer. The problems have been on going for a period of 8 months. They have had the house blessed prior to our arrival. They reported that the child would no longer sleep in his room and feels that a junior bed that they bought used was possibly the trigger for the “baby spirit” in the home. The problems correlated with the time line of the purchase of the bed. They did have a sudden and tragic death in their family some 8 years prior. The death was the brother of our client, she was 16 years old at the time. Our client does reside with her mother, stepfather, son and cousin in the residence in question. The clients brother died under strange circumstances and the police have a open “cold case” of the death. The client did go by the scene and remove several items that where located in the cab of the truck once the scene was cleared for her to do so. These possible trigger items are now located in her bedroom. One of the items being a zippo lighter that was owned by her brother. We did a full investigation on 3/28/10 of the home. Present from our team where: Brenda, Brain, Connie and Logen, the client was also present at the investigation. With the interview and investigation we spent about 12 hours in the home. We had 5 DVR cameras set up as well as digital voice records, still photos and inferred video. Personal experience: cold spots, the sound of music, and being touched, the biggest personal experience was with Brian and Logen they had a ultra bright blue light since from the hallway door/clients bedroom. One of our team members had a strong smell of cologne on his left arm and the client reports it being the same sent as her brothers. Evidence gathered: Some orbs on DVR and still shots, one orb correlated with one of our investigators reaching up for a cold spot while the orb went by unbeknown to her. But the most compelling evidence would be evp’s gather during the night. At one point we had investigator ask “is there a Joe her” and you will hear a very light male’s voice saying “Joe”. Joe is a name that the child (Klyer) in the home reports he is playing with as well as the name the “baby”. We have at least 9 sold evp’s for this investigation. Please enjoy!

Weekend of 11/13

Well this weekend has been interesting. We finely have gotten Into what was the old Spanish Armada bar to investigate. We got a new DVR system and we are ordering 10 new meters.

The free tours this weekend have been a bit of a bust, but we still managed to do what we set out for this weekend. And our investigation on the SA bar has already turned up a lot of evidence, even though we are not even finished with the reviewing.

Well with all the heavy use of our gear lately, more and more has been breaking down. So it looks like we will need to do some more tours and work on some ways to get more monie for replacement and upgraded gear. If any one has any ideas on ways to bring in some revenue please let us know.

The 3 tours we did on 10/30 went well and brought us in just enough money to cover our expenses for our next investigation. Which will be from 11pm on the 10/31 though 11/1.

The Roadway Inn of St. Augustine

The Roadway Inn of St. Augustine opened in the early 1970’s and has been operated under several different names, but the owners are the original owners and have a vast knowledge of it’s history and where able to provide us a very detailed history of the hotel. There have been several deaths on the property including 2 heart attacks, a motorcycle accident that claimed the life of a guest and friend of the owners. Some of the claims from the Inn include full body apparition, shadows, light that turn on and off by themselves, objects moving, and wet footprints in the bathroom of one room, even while no one was registered in that room. This room by the way was the room of the guest who died from the motorcycle accident in there parking lot. We spent two weeks in the building to properly cover and investigate the property and debunk some of there claims, but in the end we where only able to disprove one of there claims and we caught some very interesting video of a partial apparition along with about twenty Evps and photos. FRPI does feel this is an actively haunted property.
